| dc.description.abstract | La constante evolución de las redes de telecomunicaciones lleva a que las empresas ISP actualicen sus redes para atender la alta demanda del servicio de internet. En Arauca, debido a la situación de la pandemia, se ha venido aumentando la demanda del servicio internet hogar lo que genera la saturación de la red inalámbrica existente con la que cuenta la empresa. Lo anterior, deja en evidencia las limitaciones de dichas tecnologías. Se presenta entonces, la necesidad de realizar una actualización de la red inalámbrica a una nueva red cableada que le permita a la empresa estar a la vanguardia de la infraestructura de telecomunicaciones, estando a la par de los otros IPS que tiene presencia en la ciudad.
En el presente proyecto se diseñó una red de fibra óptica para la empresa Aratelecomunicaciones, evaluando las diferentes tecnologías alámbricas que permiten brindar servicios de telecomunicaciones sus ventajas y desventajas. De esta forma se eligió el medio más idóneo que le permitió atender la alta demanda del servicio, a su vez se aseguró una infraestructura que soportara un crecimiento y la diversificación de los productos que puede llegar a ofrecer en el futuro.
Todos los elementos elegidos para la implementación fueron analizados, como se evidencia en el proyecto, así como el presupuesto de la implementación propuesto y aprobado por la empresa. | |

In Arauca, due to the pandemic situation, the demand for home internet service has been increasing, which generates the saturation of the existing wireless network that the company has. The foregoing reveals the limitations of these technologies. Then, the need arises to update the wireless network to a new wired network that allows the company to be at the forefront of the telecommunications infrastructure, being on a par with the other IPS that has a presence in the city.
In this project, a fiber optic network is designed for the company Aratelecomunicaciones, evaluating the different wired technologies that allow providing telecommunications services, their advantages and disadvantages. In this way, the most suitable medium is chosen that allows it to meet the high demand for the service, while ensuring. An infrastructure that will support growth and diversification of the products that it can offer in the future.
All the elements chosen for the implementation were studied, which determines their efficiency in the application of the new deployed infrastructure, guaranteeing the good performance of the network. | |
