dc.description.abstract	El trabajo que se presenta a continuación corresponde a la opción de grado de monografía que consiste en el “Análisis de la tendencia mundial del manejo de Aulacaspis tubercularis en el cultivo del mango y su aplicabilidad al contexto colombiano”, este tiene como objetivo una revisión sistémica y análisis de las diferentes experiencias aplicadas en el mundo. Se realiza una investigación sobre el manejo de la A. tubercularis en el mango con el fin de obtener información para disminuir el impacto de esta plaga en el cultivo, entre ellos identificar los distintos daños que causa y analizar las estrategias de manejo empleadas para el A. tubercularis en el mango en diferentes partes del mundo. El trabajo se presenta en la modalidad de monografía, donde la metodología consiste en la búsqueda de artículos científicos, que respalden investigaciones el tema planteado y aporten en el logro del objetivo. Se describen con brevedad los impactos y las acciones más efectivas para el manejo y control de la plaga A. tubercularis en las plantaciones de mango, donde se busca reducir el impacto en el cultivo y garantice la productividad. Por último, se procede dar conclusiones sobre aquellos posibles manejos que mejor se adapte a la situación del cultivo de mango en Colombia.

dc.description.abstractenglish	The work presented below corresponds to the monograph degree option consisting of the "Analysis of the world trend in the management of Aulacaspis tubercularis in the mango crop and its applicability to the Colombian context", its objective is a review and analysis of the different experiences applied in the world. Research on the management of A. tubercularis in mango is carried out in order to reduce the impact of this pest on the crop, including the identification of the different damages it causes and the analysis of the management strategies used for A. tubercularis in mango in different parts of the world. The work is presented in the form of a monograph, where the methodology consists of the search for scientific articles that support research on the proposed topic and contribute to the achievement of the objective. The impacts and the most effective actions for the management and control of the pest A. tubercularis in mango plantations are briefly described, where the aim is to reduce the impact on the crop and guarantee productivity. Finally, conclusions are drawn on the possible management actions that are best suited to the situation of the mango crop in Colombia.
