dc.description.abstract	Según la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS), alrededor del 99% de las personas en la Tierra respiran una calidad de aire que no cumple con los límites adecuados, poniendo así en peligro su salud. Además, más de 13 millones de personas en todo el mundo mueren cada año por causas ambientales evitables, como la contaminación del aire. Esto quiere decir, que el futuro de la humanidad, y actualmente de cualquier industria se basará en la forma en la que produzca y consuma la energía, teniendo en cuenta que, un sistema energético fiable, asequible y descarbonizado, basado en energías más limpias y renovables con el medio ambiente, es fundamental para el desarrollo industrial. La ingeniería industrial busca la forma en que las empresas pueden ser eficientes energéticamente y que además tengan unas ventajas significativas al utilizar energías renovables como la mejora de la imagen de la empresa, la disminución de costos, atracción de inversores y responsables ambientalmente.

dc.description.abstractenglish	According to the World Health Organization (WHO), around 99% of people on Earth breathe air quality that does not meet adequate limits, thus endangering their health. In addition, more than 13 million people worldwide die each year from preventable environmental causes, such as air pollution. This means that the future of humanity, and currently of any industry, will be based on the way in which it produces and consumes energy, taking into account that a reliable, affordable and decarbonized energy system, based on cleaner and renewable energies with the environment, is essential for industrial development. Industrial engineering seeks the way in which companies can be energy efficient and also have significant advantages when using renewable energy, such as improving the company's image, reducing costs, attracting investors and being environmentally responsible.
