| dc.description.abstractenglish | Soil is a living system in which cycles of loss and gain occur. Is recognized as the main
element for the development and sustainability of the economy world and the functioning of
the ecosystem, in this way of life they are involved environmental components such as; the
water, the air and the atmosphere which contribute to ecological balance. But over the years
he has been committed to contamination in actions taken by man, different actions and
processes to stabilize, reverse part of its original state, most of these processes are a tool
called phytoremediation.
Phytoremediation is a highly feasible option that is used by means of certain plants
with special characteristics that can achieve metabolize, volatilize, accumulate and absorb
contaminants present in soils, air and water. This way you can to achieve a restoration of the
site under treatment, offers us a series of different procedures such as Phytostabilization,
Phytoextraction, Phytodegradation, Phyto filtration, Phytovolatilization, Fitorrestauracion,
Phyto stimulation.
It is possible to glimpse how this tool has been given a use and how transcendence
over the years, its implementation and the majority of plants that were achieved involve in
