The diagnosis was carried out on the “Cacaos del Guaviare” farm, which is located in the “Alluvial Plain of Rio (Guaviare) of Andean Origin” agro-ecological zone; in which its owner projects a production of dehydrated cocoa beans of 1.4 kilograms per plant, on average. The farmer has an agronomic system established, which includes the MIC (Integrated Crop Management), MIP (Integrated Pest Management), MIA (Integrated Management of Weeds) and the MIE (Integrated Management of Diseases). Four components were made for the study. I) The Agro-environmental conditions of the area were identified, to compare if these interfere in the production of theobroma cacao L. almonds, according to the type of clone being investigated. A test pit was made to know the physical characteristics of the cultivation land, and also, a soil sampling was carried out, for laboratory analysis, to know what the chemical conditions of the soil are, where the plantation was established. II) The adaptation and hardiness of the plant material used for the grafting of cocoa trees was examined, in terms of pests, diseases and weeds. III) 20 trees were chosen for each clone, to calculate the production of cocoa beans for each plant material, and to measure which of them is more fruitful. IV) A financial analysis of the property was carried out, to know its Social, Economic, Technical and Environmental viability. Among the results found, ICS-95 and FSA-13 clones are not productive and must be eliminated and carry out a cup change for FSV-41, Lucker-40, FEAR-t FEC-02. CCN-51, must be eliminated due to its organoleptic quality, it is very astringent and it is not suitable for microlots or export of cocoa beans. At the semester that was monitored, it is not feasible for the cocoa farmer, to maintain it, to complete with the other productive lines of the farm, but it must be borne in mind that this only represents just 33% of the harvest in the year. . A productive counterclaim must be made to improve the productivity, competitiveness and sustainability indicators of the rural property.spa
