In this document, the effect caused by the use of the insecticide Imidacloprid on bees (Apis mellifera) in beekeeping production areas was analyzed. Imidacloprid is the main cause of mortality in bees, with acute and chronic effects affecting the central nervous system of the bee, reducing their population, causing colony collapse syndrome. The monograph took documents at the national and international level, since an imbalance of natural ecosystems due to the loss of bees is being presented worldwide. Within the document, the problems caused by the use of the insecticide in the organism of insects (Apis mellifera) and the repercussions that the use of the insecticide causes in the organism of the insect were identified. Within the compilation, the mortality in bee populations affected by the insecticide in the producing areas of the country was analyzed with the amount of historical records on the mortality of bees and the toxicity of the chemical used in fumigation work in beekeeping producing areas that causes a decrease in the amount of neuropeptides in the brains of bees affecting their basic vital functions.
