dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación busca aportar una visión sobre el sector cacaotero en el occidente del departamento de Boyacá, una región que encontró en el cacao una fuente de ingresos y subsistencia a su difícil situación socio económica, generada por la falta de oportunidades de desarrollo a 2500 familias dedicadas al cultivo del cacao, quienes buscan mejorar su calidad de vida; el objetivo del estudio es Analizar el comportamiento de la producción y el mercadeo sector cacaotero en el occidente del departamento de Boyacá en el periodo 2015 al 2019. Con el cual apoyara la parte final del estudio en cuanto a las estrategias del proyecto del PIE. Estructurar un modelo de negocio para la cooperativa cacaotera de Muzo, con lo que se busca identificar las variables que influyen la producción, las características del mercado para finalmente diseñar estrategias que permitan impactar un plan de acción efectivo que oriente a dinamizar la economía local y regional en los diferentes sectores de la economía nacional (Rodriguez Martinez & Hernández Lanche, 2020). Aplicando una investigación de tipo descriptivo, documental y aplicación de una metodología de análisis sectorial que contara con unas variables madre (1) y unas variables hijas (2 y 3) que nos permitirán realizar una investigación juiciosa sobre el sector cacaotero en Boyacá a fin de apoyar el crecimiento del sector, para ser sostenibles, competitivos y rentables en el tiempo.

dc.description.abstractenglishThis research seeks to provide a vision about the cocoa sector in the western department of Boyacá, a region that found in cocoa a source of income and subsistence to its difficult socio-economic situation, generated by the lack of development opportunities for 2,500 families dedicated to the cultivation of cocoa, who seek to improve their quality of life; The objective of the study is to analyze the behavior of the production and marketing of the cocoa sector in the western part of the department of Boyacá in the period 2015 to 2019. With which it will support the final part of the study regarding the strategies of the PIE project. A business model for the Muzo cocoa cooperative, which seeks to identify the variables that influence production, the characteristics of the market to finally design strategies that impact an effective action plan that guides the dynamization of the local and regional economy in the different sectors of the national economy (Rodríguez Martinez & Hernández Lanche, 2020). Applying a descriptive, documentary research and application of a sectoral analysis methodology that will have some mother variables (1) and some daughter variables (2 and 3) that will allow us to carry out a judicious investigation on the cocoa sector in Boyacá in order to support the growth of the sector, to be sustainable, competitive and profitable over time.
