This applied project analyses the results of the implementation of the "Specialized Health Oversight: health care for women with a differential approach", in relation to the Public Policy "fight for transparency and no tolerance for corruption". Taking into account that the specialized Citizen Oversight Offices are groups of important actors in Citizen Participation and in the collective construction of care for the public resources and these groups contribute to exercise social control by monitoring public management and its results in matters of vital importance for citizens, their purpose is to monitor and to evaluate public policies and the management developed by public authorities and by individuals who exercise public functions. This research is qualitative, it allows us to analyse social phenomena and social behaviours, it is based on obtaining non-quantifiable data supported by the observation process. The techniques that will be used to collect the information are the interview and document analysis. Analysing the different reports made by the District Oversight and taking into account the results of the interviews to the women who make up this Citizen Oversight, it was found that this initiative requires a greater support of the District Health and Women's Secretaries and the District Oversight Office. Likewise, it is necessary to provide training that proves that these groups acquire tools to exercise social control in an efficient and timely way.
