Thus, for example, there are communicative, cultural, mathematical, social and civic competencies, among others. This research seeks to evaluate the digital competencies of high school students of the Pio XII and Santa Maria Goretti Educational Institutions in the municipality of Mocoa, Putumayo; for this purpose, collaboration from the case study institutions will be provided. The European Commission DIGCOMP 2.1 framework is taken as a basis, which provides a detailed description of all the skills needed to be competent in digital environments and describes them in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes and provides the levels within each competence. The survey was the tool used to achieve the purpose of the research, this tool was carried out with the supervision and evaluation of a group of experts under the validation instrument of criteria and indicators of evaluation of the virtual instrument, adapted from Alarcón et (2017) in which the categories of sufficiency, clarity and coherence to be evaluated by the judges, which I can establish a precise instrument and that has the support of this evaluation, which allowed obtaining the necessary information regarding the digital competencies of the students under study. At the end, a report was obtained with the results of the evaluation of digital competencies in the students of the case study institutions, which will serve as a key indicator for decision making and for the formulation of strategies by the municipal and departmental Secretariats of Education.     Abstract
    La educación del siglo XXI y, por su puesto, en Colombia se basa en competencias, que según la Real Academia Española (2006) las define como “pericia, aptitud o idoneidad para hacer algo o intervenir en un asunto determinado”, dicho en otras palabras, son las capacidades que tienen los seres humanos con diferentes conocimientos, habilidades, pensamientos, carácter y valores de manera integral para la vida en el ámbito personal, social y laboral; así por ejemplo se tienen capacidades comunicativas, culturales, matemáticas, sociales y cívicas, entre otras. Esta investigación busca evaluar las competencias digitales en los estudiantes de educación media de las Instituciones Educativas Pio XII y Santa María Goretti del municipio de Mocoa, Putumayo; se obtuvo la colaboración de las instituciones caso de estudio. Se tomó como base el marco de la Comisión Europea DigComp 2.1, el cual proporciona una descripción detallada de todas las habilidades necesarias para ser competente en entornos digitales y las describe en términos de conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes y aporta los niveles dentro de cada competencia. El cuestionario fue la herramienta utilizada para el logro del propósito de la investigación, esta herramienta fue realizada con la supervisión y evaluación de un grupo de expertos bajo el instrumento de validación de criterios e indicadores de valoración de instrumento virtual, adaptado de Alarcón et (2017) en el que se tuvo en cuenta las categorías de suficiencia, claridad y coherencia para ser evaluadas por los jueces, lo cual permitió establecer un instrumento preciso y que cuenta con el apoyo de esta evaluación, este instrumento permitió obtener información necesaria respecto a las competencias digitales que poseen los estudiantes objeto de estudio.
