| dc.description.abstract | La hipertensión arterial es uno de los problemas más significativos de salud cardiovascular ya que deteriora la estabilidad del paciente silenciosamente. Esta patología participa en el desarrollo de la enfermedad aterosclerótica cardiovascular, en la morbimortalidad por eventos cardiacos, cerebro-vasculares, insuficiencia renal y enfermedad vascular periférica, como riesgo continuo sin evidencia de umbral, hasta por debajo de 120/80 mmHg, por lo que la expectativa de vida de estos pacientes se encuentra reducida. | spa |
