Collective guilt is a new term for Colombian society and has been worked by previous experiences in different geographical locations, as well as in other disciplines. Therefore, this monograph presents a theoretical development based on the previous collection of information, mainly scientific research articles with data found in countries that have lived or have worked on the concept such as Germany, Chile and Spain. Here, three significant aspects are divided into three chapters that can serve as a reference for later investigations. First, chapter one shows the emergence of the term from the origin theories and their relation to the main sociopolitical conflicts of history in which the term appears; second, the milestones that were given to recognize collective guilt - sociopolitical conflicts, Environmental Psychology and Group Inequality - are recognized, and third, the transversality of the term is recorded from Psychology with other areas of knowledge.spa
