| dc.description.abstract | La propuesta investigativa que se presenta a continuación se orientó al análisis del consumo del Sildenafil por parte de los hombres de diferentes rangos de edades que asisten a las droguerías de la ciudad de Medellín a solicitar el medicamento Sildenafil. Identificando los rangos de edades qué más frecuentemente lo solicitan y las razones de su uso. Para alcanzar los objetivos planteados, se realizó una revisión de literatura existente sobre las categorías: Sildenafil, disfunción eréctil, inhibidores de la fosfodiesterasa 5 y otras relacionadas con la problemática analizada. Así mismo, se recopilaron y analizaron los datos de consumo del medicamento, aportados por una droguería de la ciudad de Medellín, durante el periodo de enero de 2014 – agosto 2017. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se aplicó la metodología cualitativa y la presentación, de los hallazgos y las recomendaciones se realizarán aplicando el modelo monográfico. | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The research proposal presented below was oriented to the analysis of the consumption of Sildenafil by men of different age ranges who attend drugstores in the city of Medellín to request the drug Sildenafil. Identifying the age ranges that most frequently request it and the reasons for its use. In order to achieve the objectives, a literature review was carried out on the categories: sildenafil, erectile dysfunction, phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors and others related to the problem analyzed. Likewise, data on drug consumption, collected by a drugstore in the city of Medellín, were collected and analyzed during the period from January 2014 to August 2017. For the development of the research the qualitative methodology was applied and the presentation, of the findings and the recommendations will be realized applying the monographic model.
