| dc.description.abstract | La presente monografía se centra en el análisis del desarrollo actual del ecoturismo en el departamento del Choco, teniendo como referentes el desarrollo sostenible y el papel del marketing verde para su expansión y promoción. Para realizar el análisis propuesto, se toman en cuenta los principios de gestión y planificación del ecoturismo, las características del territorio y de la población chocoana, el impacto del turismo y los beneficios ambientales, culturales y económicos para el departamento. Además, se presentan los principios para el desarrollo de una propuesta turística, seleccionando los municipios que cuentan con mejores ventajas para el desarrollo de la actividad. Esta herramienta sirve como modelo para el crecimiento del Ecoturismo en otras zonas del país para el progreso de la actividad. | spa |

To develop the proposed analysis, it taken into account the principles for the management and planning of ecotourism, the characteristics of the territory and population, the impact of tourism and the environmental, cultural and economic benefits for the department. In addition, the principles for the development of a tourism proposal are presented, selecting the municipalities that have the best advantages for the development of the activity.
