| dc.description.abstract | Los cantos de las comunidades del pacífico puntualmente los alabaos y su relación con la muerte y sobre los hechos violentos que acontecen en Colombia y la zona del pacífico, se consideró de importancia visibilizar la diversidad cultural de las comunidades, su historia e identidad. El término voces usado en el título de la monografía hace referencia a la importancia del canto como manifestación tradicional y artística de las mujeres del pacífico colombiano y de la trascendencia que estas tonadas presentan en la actualidad testimonial de las víctimas del conflicto armado. Además de presentarse como un mecanismo cotidiano de la expresión humana afrodescendiente que reinventa nuevas formas de afirmar su sentir. | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The songs of the communities of the Pacific punctually praise them and their relationship to death and the violent events that occur in Colombia and the Pacific area, it was considered important to make visible the cultural diversity of the communities, their history and identity. The term voices used in the title of the monograph refers to the importance of singing as a traditional and artistic manifestation of the women of the Colombian Pacific and of the significance that these tunes present today as testimonial of the victims of the armed conflict. In addition to presenting itself as a daily mechanism of Afro-descendant human expression that reinvents new ways of affirming its feelings. | spa |
