| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto: Propuesta para la mitigación de la contaminación atmosférica en el sector de la zona centro del casco urbano de la Dorada Caldas, generada por el parque automotor mediante la arborización urbana, busca establecer el grado de contaminación atmosférico que afecta el centro de la ciudad y para ello ha seleccionado como población muestra el sector de la zona centro de la ciudad, por la afluencia vehicular, siendo el lugar donde se presenta mayor contaminación atmosférica. Para este caso se presenta una propuesta para mitigarla mediante el establecimiento de arborización urbana, en la cual se contemplan árboles que permitan una mayor captación de CO2 mejorando la calidad del aire de la zona de estudio. | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The pollution problem in cities was a controversial topic, of a great importance during the last years. It has generated adverse situations for the development of human life. For that reason, some researches were performed and they were dedicated to each kind of contamination idenfified until now. It was found that the main contaminants in air pollution were carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide which are originated from the combustion of oil. The Project, a Proposal for the mitigation of air pollution in the downtown area of “La Dorada, Caldas” generated by the vehicle fleet trhough urban tree planting programs, seeks to establish the degree of atmospheric pollution affecting the center of the town. In this way a sample of population from the downtown of “La Dorada” was selected, they live between 17 the Street and 13th Street. This area is the most contaminated since there is a big vehicular flow; for this case it is presented a proposal to mitigate that air pollution through the urban tree planting programs, in which trees that allow a high level of CO2 capture can improve air quality. | spa |
