| dc.description.abstract | La gran mayoría de la población colombiana desconoce qué, cuáles y cuantas son las enfermedades huérfanas conocidas hasta el momento, su etiología médica y psicológica, el marco legal que las cobijas dentro de Colombia, las dificultades de diagnóstico que presentan y la tendencia a ser mal diagnosticadas, los factores psicosociales que afectan el bienestar y calidad de vida de estos pacientes y sus cuidadores, así como las necesidades de inclusión social de los primeros. Esta monografía pretende hacer una revisión documental sobre el tema, tocando aspectos inherentes a las problemáticas que enfrentan estos pacientes y visibilizar ante los profesionales de la psicología a este grupo minoritario, generalmente invisible, para el futuro abordaje integral de estas patologías. | dc.description.abstractenglish | The vast majority of the Colombian population does not know what, what and how many orphan diseases are known so far, their medical and psychological etiology, the legal framework that blankets within Colombia, the diagnostic difficulties they present and the tendency to be misdiagnosed, the psychosocial factors that affect the well-being and quality of life of these patients and their caregivers , as well as the social inclusion needs of the former. This monograph aims to make a documentary review on the subject, touching on aspects inherent in the problems faced by these patients and making this minority group, generally invisible, visible to psychology professionals for the future comprehensive approach to these pathologies.
