| dc.description.abstract | En el presente trabajo se encuentra relacionado una consolidación sobre todos los temas revisados durante el curso, direccionándolos hacia el papel del regente frente a la farmacovigilancia. Por lo cual es importante conocer que "la farmacovigilancia es la disciplina encargada de la detección, evaluación, entendimiento y prevención de los efectos adversos y de cualquier otro problema relacionado con medicamentos". (Calderón, 2011). Durante el desarrollo de la actividad se encuentran las generalidades, métodos y programas de la farmacovigilancia, se expone sobre los eventos adversos, clasificación y tipos de reacciones adversas a medicamentos, se identifican las interacciones medicamentosas y el quehacer del regente teniendo en cuenta su relación con la farmacovigilancia, se toca el tema de la promoción del uso racional de los medicamentos y efectividad y seguridad de los tratamientos farmacológicos, por último se habla sobre las enfermedades que tienen mayor prevalencia e incidencia en el mundo. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | In the present work, a consolidation of all the topics reviewed during the course is related, directing them towards the role of the regent in the face of pharmacovigilance. Therefore, it is important to know that "pharmacovigilance is the discipline in charge of detecting, evaluating, understanding and preventing adverse effects and any other drug-related problem." (Calderon, 2011). During the development of the activity, the generalities, methods and programs of pharmacovigilance are found, it is exposed about adverse events, classification and types of adverse reactions to drugs, drug interactions and the regent's work are identified taking into account their relationship with Pharmacovigilance, the issue of promoting the rational use of drugs and the effectiveness and safety of pharmacological treatments is discussed. Finally, it talks about the diseases that have the highest prevalence and incidence in the world. | |
