| dc.description.abstract | La farmacovigilancia al ser la ciencia encargada de detectar, evaluar y prevenir los eventos adversos relacionados con el uso de los medicamentos debe llevarse a cabo constantemente en el quehacer del sector de la salud y sobre todo desarrollarse con mucha responsabilidad, ya que, del adecuado desarrollo y reporte de los eventos adversos a medicamentos, se pueden salvar vidas de aquellas personas que constantemente tienen que estar consumiendo medicamentos para tratar sus afecciones. Por lo tanto, con el desarrollo del diplomado de profundización en farmacovigilancia, fue posible conocer las diferentes clasificaciones que existen de los eventos adversos asociados al uso de los medicamentos, los cuales, se enlistan más adelante para mayor compresión del tema. Adicionalmente, se aborda las generalidades, objetivos, la normatividad vigente que rige a la farmacovigilancia en Colombia, así como también los métodos usados en este país para llevar a cabo el desarrollo de la misma, lo cual permite que los trabajadores del área de la salud, se encuentren en la capacidad de reportar eventos adversos ante el INVIMA, con el fin de contribuir a la farmacovigilancia. Por otro lado, se reconoce la importancia del papel que desempeña el regente de farmacia en el desarrollo de la farmacovigilancia desde su quehacer como directo responsable de la dispensación de medicamentos a los usuarios del servicio farmacéutico. Finalmente, se logran apropiar y entender los concentos de seguridad y efectividad de un tratamiento farmacológico. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | Pharmacovigilance, as the science responsible for detecting, evaluating and preventing adverse events related to the use of medicinal products, must be constantly carried out in the work of the health sector and, above all, must be carried out with great responsibility, because, from the proper development and reporting of adverse drug events, lives can be saved for those people who constantly have to be taking medicines to treat their conditions. Therefore, with the development of the diploma in pharmacovigilance, it was possible to know the different classifications that exist of the adverse events associated with the use of drugs, which are listed below for further understanding of the topic. In addition, it addresses the generalities, objectives, current regulations governing pharmacovigilance in Colombia, as well as the methods used in this country to carry out the development of the same, which allows workers in the area of health, are in a position to report adverse events to INVIMA in order to contribute to pharmacovigilance. On the other hand, the importance of the role played by the pharmacy administrator in the development of pharmacovigilance from his work as the direct responsible for the dispensation of medicines to the users of the pharmaceutical service is recognized. Finally, they manage to appropriate and understand the concepts of safety and effectiveness of a pharmacological treatment. | |
