| dc.description.abstract | Los acontecimientos no positivos relacionados con los medicamentos que se comercializan representan problemas de inmensa magnitud para los sistemas de salud debido a las consecuencias que pueden traer en los indoles sociales y económicos. Por ello, es un asunto prioritario la prevención de los riesgos que se dan asociados a los medicamentos y por eso, que por medio del Programa de Farmacovigilancia se desarrollan acciones para proteger la salud de la población promoviendo así el uso adecuado, responsable y seguro de los medicamentos. En este programa todos los actores deben trabajar en vigilancia sobre los sucesos y eventos adversos relacionados con el uso de medicamentos con el fin de considerar el riesgo al que se ve inducido el paciente y así tomar medidas generales para la seguridad de toda la población durante la utilización de los medicamentos, productos fitoterapéuticos y vacunas. | |

For this reason, the prevention of risks associated with medicines is a priority issue and therefore, through the Pharmacovigilance Program, actions are developed to protect the health of the population, thus promoting the appropriate, responsible and safe use of the drugs.
