dc.descriptionIn the current study we worked on a laboratory scale a system for post-treatment of domestic wastewater in batch-type reactors in order to evaluate the potential of duckweed to remove organic matter, nutrients and coliforms, using as substrate wastewater from the oxidation ponds of the wastewater treatment system from the Municipality of Valledupar. The lemnaceae that served as inoculums to develop there search were taken from jagüeyes located on the outskirts of Valledupar. This research analyzed the following parameters: chemical oxygen demand, total nitrogen kjeldalh, phosphorus, coliforms, count of fronds, determination of biomass.en-US
dc.descriptionEn el presente estudio se trabajó a escala de laboratorio un sistema de pos-tratamiento de agua residual doméstica en reactores tipo batch con el fin de evaluar la potencialidad del duckweed para remover materia orgánica, nutrientes y coliformes, utilizando como sustrato aguas residuales provenientes de las lagunas de oxidación del sistema de tratamiento de aguas residuales del Municipio de Valledupar. Las lemnáceas que sirvieron como inóculo para desarrollar la investigación fueron tomadas de jagüeyes ubicados a las afueras de Valledupar. En esta investigación se analizaron los siguientes parámetros: demanda química de oxígeno, nitrógeno total kjeldalh, fósforo, coliformes, conteo de frondas, determinación de la biomasa.es-ES
