dc.descriptionForeign direct investment (FDI) represents an opportunity for the economies of the countries to improve their macroeconomic rates. In Mexico, government authorities have promoted the national economy through the flow of FDI, but it is necessary to maintain a balance between the FDI and local economic activities; the present document aims to provide a knowledge of the current status of endogenous development factors in order to identify the vulnerable elements of the local economy within foreign direct investment; the reference for this analysis is the FDI carried out in the south of the Istmo de Tehuantepec on which wind parks were built; the relevance of this document is to serve as a discussion maker on the effects of this FDI in the community; it is concluded that no factor has been developed and the local economy is suffering its consecuences. dc.descriptionLa inversión extranjera directa (IED) representa para las economías de los países una oportunidad de mejorar sus índices macroeconómicos, en el caso de México, las autoridades gubernamentales han impulsado la economía nacional mediante el flujo de IED, pero es necesario mantener un equilibrio entre la IED y las actividades económicas locales; el objetivo del presente documento es conocer el status actual de los factores de desarrollo endógeno para identificar los puntos vulnerables de la economía local ante la presencia de inversión extranjera directa; para ello se toma como referencia el caso de las IED realizadas en el sur del Istmo de Tehuantepec con las que se construyeron parques eólicos, siendo la relevancia del documento generar una discusión sobre los efectos de esta IED en la comunidad; se concluye que ningún factor ha sido desarrollado lo que ha afectado a la economía local.es-ES
