| dc.description.abstract | Brinsa S.A. Empresa líder en industrias y clases de productos del cuidado del hogar con su marca insignia BLANCOX a partir del año 2007, año en el cual inicio un proceso de desarrollo de la unidad de negocio en relación con productos de cuidado del hogar con extensiones de líneas de producción de diferentes referencias en el mercado, con la finalidad de atender la demanda y seguir garantizando un excelente servicio (Brins S.A.S, 2022). Actualmente la compañía enfrenta un alto nivel en la demanda de productos para el cuidado de hogar, lo cual genero un alza considerable en las áreas de producción en la planta de proceso cuidado del hogar, generando a su vez un desbordamiento considerable de producto terminado en la zona de almacenamiento “ Centro de distribución” evidenciando así que la bodega no contaba con el espacio suficiente para tal acaparamiento, lo cual obligo a la compañía a realizar contrataciones externas con operadores logísticos que le otorgaran el servicio de transporte, almacenamiento y distribución del producto terminado, esto buscando satisfacer las necesidades del cliente y consumidor final. Este crecimiento desmesurado ha llevado a la compañía a buscar propuestas estratégicas que ayuden a la disminución de costos en las diferentes actividades logísticas desempeñadas con el traslado, almacenamiento y distribución del producto terminado. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | In the following proposal for improvement that is offered to the company Brinsa is to make an increase in units of boxes in the pallet in its distribution center and where it would also go hand in hand with a new alternative of justified savings in freight and use in storage areas, where it is exposed that initially it would proceed to alter the structure of stowage of the product in peak areas of band, this in turn includes modifications in the Racks and in the WMS inventory system in the future, by implementing this new phase of logistics processes we seek to optimize to the maximum the locations in the Racks with a greater number of boxes in their Cedi, where it would also demonstrate a lower internal movement of product with respect to the machinery that performs the storage in said shelf, checking that a single forklift operator moves a percentage more boxes than usual and with a lower pallet circulation. In its most important monetary objective would be the savings in cost of moving the product with respect to the decrease in the number of freight from the Brinsa Zipaquirá Cundinamarca Distribution Center to the warehouse of the external logistics operator EGA-KAT located in Siberia Cundinamarca, said entity is in charge of making receipt of final product and also responsible for its distribution nationwide, The objective of this proposal is to reduce the costs of moving product from one warehouse to another by maintaining the same amount of merchandise in EGA-KAT warehouse and reflecting a decrease in the number of freight rates moving the final consumer product, this cost saving would be evidenced in the indicators of number of units stored by storage cost and number of transport freights. | |
