dc.description.abstractenglishThe precious metals processing company analyzed for this project is a multinational established in 1982 in the city of Medellín and dedicated to the exploitation, production and sale of precious metals for the mining industry. The focus is mainly on the production of metals such as gold and silver; as a second option, it has the production of lead and zinc concentrates. The company currently has more than 7,000 employees, of whom 3,000 are directly hired and 4,000 temporarily. Likewise, the range of equipment and machinery is distributed in 2 crushing plants, loaders, bulldozers, which form the set of machinery for the extraction and transport of material and the other part corresponds to the set of crushing machinery. With the following work, it is intended to carry out a detailed monitoring of the production process, evaluating each of the operational areas, recording the yields, and analyzing the results to develop improvement actions that allow increasing production yields, human productivity and improving the results. processes standardizing operational tasks.
