In a study conducted by me between 2017 and 2018, in the city of Tunja, it had already been established that in the Department of Boyacá and within the Municipality of Tunja, there were high rates of violence against women, violence that led to the occurrence of some femicides in these periods and that where this situation occurred most was in the home due to cultural and traditional issues, Intrafamily violence was followed by labor violence in all areas in which women were verbally and sexually assaulted, and that these forms of violence occurred despite the fact that resources were being allocated in public policies for the prevention of violence against women, the phenomenon did not diminish but on the contrary was on the rise. Within the Municipality of Tunja, as in the rest of the country, with the arrival of COVID, there were many anomalous situations that generated chaos among these decrease of formal and informal employment, increase of poverty among others, which was a trigger for the increase of intrafamily and social violence, among these situations is that only in 2023 in the city of Tunja, there are no studies and statistics on violence against women, There are no studies and statistics that allow us to establish the incidence of preventive public policies, since although they continued to be applied, the public personnel in charge of their dissemination did not enter the neighborhoods and communities for fear of COVID contagion, hence the importance of carrying out this research. Keywords: Crime against women, domestic violence, discrimination against women political violenc, prevention violence against women and public politics.
