dc.description.abstract	En este artículo se muestra en forma detallada la puesta en marcha de un servidor GNU/Linux, usando la distribución NethServer en su versión 7.9.2009. Se indica el paso a paso de la instalación en una máquina virtual. Esto permite dar respuesta a los requerimientos específicos del cliente relacionados con los servicios de infraestructura IT de mayor nivel para Intranet y Extranet en instituciones complejas. Lo anterior, mediante la implementación y configuración detallada de los servicios DHCP Server, DNS Server, controlador de dominio y control de acceso para la conectividad de internet mediante el proxy filtrando la salida por medio del puerto 3128; además, la validación del funcionamiento del cortafuego aplicando las restricciones solicitadas, File Server y Print Server. Finalmente, la configuración de VPN con el objetivo de establecer un túnel privado de comunicación con una estación de trabajo.

The step-by-step installation on a virtual machine is indicated. This allows us to respond to the customer's specific requirements related to the highest level IT infrastructure services for Intranet and Extranet in complex institutions. This is done through the implementation and detailed configuration of DHCP Server, DNS Server, Domain Controller and Access Control services for Internet connectivity through the proxy filtering the output through port 3128; In addition, the validation of the operation of the firewall by applying the requested restrictions, File Server and Print Server. Finally, the VPN configuration with the aim of establishing a private communication tunnel with a workstation.
