dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo, aborda la importancia de la farmacovigilancia y la atención farmacéutica en el contexto de medicamentos homeopáticos y tradicionales utilizados en niños de 0 a 10 años. Este estudio destaca una brecha significativa en la formación y capacitación de profesionales de la salud en el manejo de estos medicamentos.Con un enfoque de investigación descriptivo mixto, el proyecto combina análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo a través de encuestas y entrevistas dirigidas a tutores de niños y profesionales sanitarios. Los hallazgos revelan una falta de consenso en la eficacia de los medicamentos homeopáticos y tradicionales, así como deficiencias en la identificación y reporte de reacciones adversas. Los objetivos del estudio se centran en el desarrollo de estrategias educativas para prevenir reacciones adversas, identificar la incidencia de estas reacciones, mejorar las prácticas de formulación y dispensación de medicamentos y fomentar la capacitación especializada para los profesionales en regencia de farmacia. El proyecto resalta la necesidad de implementar una farmacovigilancia más efectiva, mejorando la formulación y dispensación de medicamentos y promoviendo sistemas de reporte eficientes. Además, enfatiza la importancia de la capacitación en comunicación efectiva y educación al paciente sobre el uso seguro de medicamentos homeopáticos y tradicionales.

dc.description.abstractenglishThis work addresses the importance of pharmacovigilance and pharmaceutical care in the context of homeopathic and traditional medicines used in children aged 0 to 10 years. This study highlights a significant gap in the training and education of health professionals in the management of these medicines. With a mixed descriptive research approach, the project combines quantitative and qualitative analysis through surveys and interviews aimed at guardians of children and health professionals. The findings reveal a lack of consensus on the efficacy of homeopathic and traditional medicines, as well as deficiencies in the identification and reporting of adverse reactions. The objectives of the study focus on the development of educational strategies to prevent adverse reactions, identify the incidence of these reactions, improve the practices of formulation and dispensing of medicines, and promote specialized training for professionals in pharmacy management. The project emphasizes the need to implement more effective pharmacovigilance, improving the formulation and dispensing of medicines and promoting efficient reporting systems. Additionally, it highlights the importance of training in effective communication and patient education on the safe use of homeopathic and traditional medicines
