Description:	Mexican ejidos are recognized as social properties with ecological and economic potential; however, these types of communities continue to be a benchmark for the lack of clear policies that lead to conclusive social and economic growth. Approached from a qualitative ethnographic perspective, a case study of descriptive exploratory scope is presented, being the focus of interest the economic and social organizational analysis of an ejido called Buena Vista Puxcatán, located in the municipality of Macuspana, Tabasco. The results indicate that an organization with precarious and unstable social and economic development prevails in the ejido community "Buena Vista Puxcatán" and, according to the documentary research carried out, it is an aspect that prevails throughout the Mexican territory. Los ejidos mexicanos se reconocen como propiedades sociales con potencial ecológico y económico; sin embargo, este tipo de comunidades siguen siendo referente de la falta de políticas claras que lleven a un crecimiento social y económico concluyente. Abordado desde una mirada cualitativa de tipo etnográfica, se presenta un estudio de caso de alcance exploratorio descriptivo, siendo el foco de interés el análisis organizacional económico y social de un ejido denominado Buena Vista Puxcatán, ubicado en el municipio de Macuspana, Tabasco. Los resultados indican que prevalece una organización con desarrollo social y económico precario e inestable en la comunidad ejidal “Buena Vista Puxcatán” y, según la investigación documental realizada, es un aspecto que prevalece a lo largo del territorio mexicano.
