Description:	On the land border between Colombia and Panama lies the Darién Gap, a key point in Pan- American migration that has experienced a dramatic increase in the number of migrants who make the decisión to enter the jungle, known for its dangers, violence and presence of armed groups, in search of a better life. This study analyses humanitarian intervention in the context of the Darién Gap in response to the migration crisis and the applicability of the Humanitarian, Development and Peace nexus (HDP). Through a literature review and qualitative interviews with actors who are part of the humanitarian response, the relevance of the application of the nexus in the context is analyzed, as well as the need for the correct application of the three dimensions of the nexus. The context, characterized by the chronification of the crisis and a high turnover of migrants, responds to both short-term and long-term needs. The findings indicate deficiencies in coordination mechanisms, a negative impact of state neglect on development policies, and the crucial importance of social networks in migration flows. Although the humanitarian approach is essential, the need for development spaces and the implementation of the nexus, preserving humanitarian space and prioritizing compliance with humanitarian principles, is evident. En la frontera terrestre entre Colombia y Panamá se encuentra el Tapón del Darién, un punto clave en las migraciones panamericanas que ha experimentado un crecimiento drástico en el número de migrantes que toman la decisión de adentrarse en una selva, conocida por sus peligros, violencia y presencia de grupos armados, para buscar una vida mejor. El presente estudio analiza la intervención humanitaria en el contexto del Tapón del Darién, en respuesta a la crisis migratoria, y la aplicabilidad del triple nexo humanitario entre acción humanitaria, desarrollo y paz. Mediante una revisión bibliográfica y entrevistas cualitativas a entidades que forman parte de la respuesta humanitaria, se analiza la pertinencia de la aplicación del nexo en el contexto, así como la necesidad de la aplicación correcta de las tres dimensiones del nexo. El contexto, caracterizado por la cronificación de la crisis y una alta rotación de migrantes, responde a necesidades tanto cortoplacistas como de medio y largo plazo. Los hallazgos indican deficiencias en los mecanismos de coordinación, un impacto negativo del desamparo estatal en las políticas de desarrollo y la importancia crucial de las redes sociales en el flujo migratorio. Aunque el enfoque humanitario es esencial, se evidencia la necesidad de espacios de desarrollo y de la implementación del triple nexo, preservando el espacio humanitario y dando prioridad al cumplimiento de los principios humanitarios.
