| dc.description.abstract | Esta propuesta investigativa se centra en el tratamiento con yodo-131 para personas que presentan sordera profunda y cuentan con un diagnóstico de cáncer de tiroides, debido a esto se evidencia la necesidad de una estrategia educativa inclusiva para estas personas de la clínica cancerológica de Cúcuta. Se ha identificado que estas personas enfrentan desafíos significativos debido a la falta de información accesible sobre su tratamiento, sus efectos secundarios y cuidados posteriores, situación que afecta negativamente su adherencia al tratamiento y su calidad de vida. Para abordar esta problemática, se propone el diseño de una herramienta educativa mediada por tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TICS) que proporcione información clara y adaptada, incluyendo videos en lenguaje de señas, infografías y material escrito accesible. Esta estrategia educativa busca crear escenarios inclusivos desde el área de la salud para estas personas sordas, con el fin de mejorar su comprensión al tratamiento y fomentar una mejor gestión de su bienestar. Como diseño de investigación se utiliza el modelo PRADDIE, una adaptación al modelo ADDIE, para estructurar el diseño de contenido digital. Este modelo facilita la creación de materiales educativos mediante un proceso sistemático: Preanálisis, Recolectar, Analizar, Diseñar, Desarrollar, Implementar y Evaluar. Este enfoque permite integrar elementos pedagógicos, tecnológicos y contextuales en el diseño. Como resultado el modelo PRADDIE permite identificar y abordar las necesidades educativas de las personas sordas, ya que es un modelo flexible y adaptable que facilita la utilización de herramientas para mejorar la comprensión sobre el tratamiento con yodo-131. La estrategia incluye material visual y en lenguaje de señas, capacitando al personal médico en LSC para garantizar una comunicación efectiva. Este enfoque promueve la inclusión y una atención medica de calidad. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | This research proposal focuses on treatment with iodine-131 for people with profound deafness who have been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Consequently, the need for an inclusive educational strategy for these patients at the cancer clinic in Cúcuta has become evident. It has been identified that these individuals face significant challenges due to the lack of accessible information about their treatment, its side effects, and post-treatment care, a situation that negatively impacts their adherence to the treatment and quality of life.To address this issue, the design of an educational tool mediated by information and communication technologies (ICTs) is proposed. This tool will provide clear and adapted information, including sign language videos, infographics, and accessible written material. This educational strategy aims to create inclusive scenarios in the health sector for these deaf individuals, to improve their understanding of the treatment and encourage better management of their well-being. The PRADDIE model, an adaptation of the ADDIE model, is used as the research design to structure the creation of digital content. This model facilitates the creation of educational materials through a systematic process: Pre-analysis, Gather, Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. This approach allows for the integration of pedagogical, technological, and contextual elements in the design.As a result, the PRADDIE model helps identify and address the educational needs of deaf individuals, being a flexible and adaptable model that facilitates the use of tools to improve understanding of iodine-131 treatment. The strategy includes visual material and sign language, training medical staff in Colombian Sign Language (LSC) to ensure effective communication.
