| dc.description.abstract | El análisis identifica y clasifica el riesgo de inundaciones en Puerto López, Meta, utilizando herramientas SIG y ArcGIS. A través de un análisis multicriterio, se transformaron capas ráster en vectorial, se calcularon áreas y se categorizaron los riesgos en niveles cualitativos: alto, medio y bajo. Los resultados permiten identificar áreas críticas y evaluar su impacto en comunidades, infraestructuras y sistemas agropecuarios, facilitando la planificación de medidas de mitigación para fomentar el desarrollo sostenible y la resiliencia. El municipio presenta un nivel de riesgo alto en zonas cercanas a los ríos Meta y Manacacías, las inundaciones afectan al 25% de la población durante eventos extremos. Estas inundaciones generan pérdidas económicas significativas, afectando más de 1,000 hectáreas de cultivos e infraestructuras viales esenciales para la economía local.
