| dc.description.abstract | Es importante identificar los determinantes de salud involucrados en los departamentos más vulnerables en Colombia, especialmente en el departamento de Chocó donde actualmente se evidencian condiciones socio económicas deficientes, con un deterioro importante en salud y educación, adicionalmente la zona demográfica y ambiental genera un alto impacto de vectores lo cual ocasiona un incremento de enfermedades infecciosas especialmente en la población infantil, como la infección respiratoria aguda. La propuesta para mitigar esta condición de salud se basa en fomentar mejoras de saneamiento ambiental, implementando el acceso a los servicios de salud de forma oportuna y eficiente en la comunidad Chocoana. Es fundamental identificar las principales causas de la infección respiratoria aguda en niños menores de cinco años, generando planes de acción con la comunidad y el personal de salud orientadas al reconocimiento oportuno de los signos y síntomas mitigando la tasa de mortalidad en esta región. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | It is important to identify the health determinants involved in the most vulnerable departments in Colombia, especially in the department of Chocó where there are currently deficient socioeconomic conditions, with a significant deterioration in health and education. In addition, the demographic and environmental zone generates a high impact of vectors which causes an increase in infectious diseases, especially in the population such as acute respiratory infection. The proposal to mitigate this health condition is based on promoting improvements in environmental sanitation, implementing access to health services in a timely and efficient manner, in the Chocó community. It is essential to identify the main causes of acute respiratory infection in children under five years of age, generating action plans with the community and health personnel aimed at the timely precognition of signa and symptoms, mitigating the mortality rate in this region. | |
