| dc.description.abstract | NethServer, un sistema operativo basado en GNU/Linux, diseñado para la gestión de servicios IT en redes complejas. La actividad se centró en establecer un túnel privado de comunicación entre una estación de trabajo basada en GNU/Linux y el servidor, garantizando una conexión segura y estable para el acceso remoto a aplicaciones y recursos. Durante el proceso, se configuraron zonas DMZ, redes internas y roles específicos para el servidor. La implementación de la VPN incluyó la personalización de parámetros de seguridad y la validación del acceso mediante pruebas funcionales desde estaciones de trabajo. Los resultados demuestran que NethServer es una solución robusta y eficiente para la gestión de infraestructura IT en entornos institucionales. Además, se analizan posibles mejoras y desafíos encontrados durante la configuración (Fattorini, 2015). | |

The activity focuses on establishing a private communication tunnel between a GNU/Linux-based workstation and the server, ensuring a secure and stable connection for remote access to applications and resources. During the process, DMZ zones, internal networks and specific roles for the server were configured. The VPN implementation included the customization of security parameters and the validation of access through functional tests from workstations. The results demonstrate that NethServer is a robust and efficient solution for IT infrastructure management in institutional environments. In addition, possible improvements and challenges encountered during configuration are analyzed (Fattorini, 2015). | |
