dc.description.abstractLa guía elaborada presenta el proceso y el paso a paso a seguir para la instalación, configuración y puesta en marcha de un servidor NethServer en un entorno de simulación virtual (máquinas virtuales de VirtualBox) con dispositivos físicos (equipo anfitrión), en el cual como principal aspecto técnico se resalta que la configuración de zonas de seguridad (roja, naranja, verde) para segmentar la red y aplicar políticas de acceso de manera diferenciada. De igual forma, se describe los procedimientos para habilitar las funcionalidades desde el panel de administración de Netheserver para implementar servicios y aplicaciones de red como la gestión de archivos e impresión, DHCP, DNS, proxy, cortafuegos y VPN, que tengan como finalidad generar conexiones seguras para salvaguarda y proteger de amenazas internas y externas todo el tráfico que se ejecute en la red.
