| dc.description.abstractenglish | "The Solar Energy for Educational and Social Transformation" project aims to ensure access to clean and continuous energy in the Wayú communities of Wejeipa and Uribia, La Guajira, by installing solar panels in their schools. This energy deficit affects education, classroom comfort, and school nutrition, perpetuating the digital and social gap. The initiative is developed under the Design Thinking methodology, allowing for the identification of needs and the design of solutions adapted to the community. A standalone solar panel system will be implemented, accompanied by ventilation, refrigeration for food preservation, and educational technology, directly benefiting students and teachers. Additionally, the project includes community training for system maintenance, promoting self-sufficiency and long-term sustainability. It is based on a business model canvas, with strategic alliances between governments, NGOs, and the private sector for financing and scalability. Its impact goes beyond the energy sector, contributing to digital inclusion, improved educational quality, and reduced child malnutrition. Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals reinforces its global relevance, presenting a replicable solution for vulnerable communities. | |
