dc.descriptionLa inteligencia artificial (IA) ha transitado por múltiples paradigmas que han cambiado drásticamente la comprensión humana de estas tecnologías. Originalmente basada en reglas simbólicas, la IA ha migrado hacia enfoques conexionistas, con un auge actual de las redes neuronales y el aprendizaje profundo. Esta ponencia analiza este tránsito epistemológico, examinando debates éticos y conceptuales contemporáneos sobre las capacidades de las máquinas. Indiscutiblemente nos encontramos en una singularidad histórica, con desafíos aún abiertos para comprender los fundamentos de la nueva IA.es
dc.descriptionArtificial intelligence (AI) has traversed through multiple paradigms that have drastically changed human understanding of these technologies. Originally based on symbolic rules, AI has migrated towards connectionist approaches, with a current surge in neural networks and deep learning. This paper analyzes this epistemological transition, examining contemporary ethical and conceptual debates surrounding machine capabilities. It is concluded that we are in a historical singularity, with challenges still open to understanding the foundations of the new AI.en
