dc.description	Looking at our reality from social history leads us to recognize that there have always been excluded human groups; that is the case of the peasantry, whose decline in numbers has been to worsen the situation and the national environment, since every day scattered human beings join to swell the misery of the cities increasingly enlarged. Some quixotic of the education have devoted efforts to the overall improvement: engage the marginalized in theirown development and their community. In this dream we find among others the exercise of “Acción Cultural Popular” (acpo) and the “Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (unad)”. Its methodologies, processes and effectiveness have been the subject of praise as well as disrepute.	en
dc.description	Mirar nuestra realidad desde la historia social nos lleva a reconocer que hay grupos humanos por siempre excluidos; es el caso del campesinado, cuya disminución en número ha logrado agravar su situación y empeorar el desfavorable ambiente nacional. Además, día a día se suman derrotados seres humanos que engrosan la miseria de las cada vez más agrandadas ciudades. Sin embargo, algunos quijotes de la educación han dedicado esfuerzos al mejoramiento integral: comprometer al marginado en su propio desarrollo y el de su comunidad. En este sueño encontramos, entre otros, el ejercicio de Acción Cultural Popular (acpo) y la UniversidadNacional Abierta y a Distancia (unad). Sus metodologías, procesos y eficacia, han sido objeto de alabanza, con la misma facilidad con la que han sido sujeto de descrédito.	es
