Description:	Este artículo realiza un análisis sobre las prácticas corporales emergentes y discursos (contra)hegemónicos en la construcción social del espacio en Villavicencio desde una perspectiva crítica de los Estudios Culturales. Para tal fin, y por el carácter cualitativo de esta investigación, las herramientas empleadas para hallar pistas de comprensión sobre el problema/objeto de estudio, pasaron por el análisis documental, la entrevista semi-estructurada y los diversos referentes teóricos, que posteriormente derivaron en el entrecruce de información a la luz de las múltiples relaciones y tensiones, convergencias y divergencias, liberadas hacia el análisis crítico de las prácticas corporales emergentes en los diferentes espacios de la ciudad. Formas concretas de manifestación corporal que parecen estar lejos de los discursos hegemónicos, y que reconfiguran el espacio y resignifican el uso de los objetos. Los resultados de esta investigación permitirán ofrecer interpretaciones diferenciales sobre las prácticas corporales que emergen en la ciudad y el lugar de estas en el uso del espacio de la ciudad capital del departamento del Meta. This work carries out an analysis of emerging bodily practices and (counter)hegemonic discourses in the social construction of space in Villavicencio, a critical analysis in the spirit of cultural studies. For this purpose, and due to the qualitative nature of this research, the tools used to find answers to the object of study included documentary analysis, semi-structured interviews and various theoretical references, which subsequently allowed the interweaving of information to the light of the multiple relationships and tensions, convergences and divergences, released towards the critical analysis of emerging bodily practices in the different spaces of the city. Concrete forms of bodily manifestation that seem to be far from hegemonic discourses, and that reconfigure space and redefine the use of objects. The results of this research will allow us to offer differential interpretations about the bodily practices that emerge in the city of Villavicencio and their place in the use of space in the capital city of the department of Meta.
