Description:	Human conflicts are constitutive elements of human nature and the exercise of sociability of each individual. To get closer to its meaning, nature, scope and approach, it is necessary to lay the foundations of its comprehension that transcend the traditional conception, according to which, conflict is negatively understood as an inevitable situation in which power relations imply the only form for resolution. In this way, it is intended to propose the new conception about the conflict that lays the foundations of a new epistemology that, based on cooperation and in a reconstructive model, allows addressing the conflict by seeking its transformation from the application of two important categories: the recognition and the empowerment. Thus, conflict is understood not only as constitutive, but also as fundamental and necessary for the person and for human relationships, insofar as it becomes a learning situation that builds plurality making it necessary, in the personal, family, social and educational, the construction of a pedagogy of conflict. Los conflictos humanos son elementos constitutivos de la naturaleza humana y del ejercicio de la sociabilidad de cada individuo. Para acercarnos a su significado, naturaleza, alcance y abordaje, es necesario sentar las bases de su comprensión que trasciendan la concepción tradicional, según la cual, el conflicto se comprende de manera negativa como una situación inevitable en donde las relaciones de poder implican la única forma para su resolución. De esta forma, se pretende plantear la nueva concepción sobre el conflicto que siente las bases de una nueva epistemología que, con base en la cooperación y en un modelo reconstructivo, permita abordar el conflicto buscando su transformación desde la aplicación de dos importantes categorías: el reconocimiento y el empoderamiento. Así, el conflicto se comprende no solo como constitutivo, sino también como fundamental y necesario para la persona y para las relaciones humanas, en tanto que se convierte en situación de aprendizaje que construye pluralidad haciendo necesario, en el ámbito personal, familiar, social y educativo, la construcción de una pedagogía del conflicto.
