Description:	El desarrollo sostenible de los territorios rurales es un desafío que requiere la búsqueda y promoción de alternativas productivas más allá de la agricultura tradicional. Este documento examina diversas opciones innovadoras que pueden diversificar las fuentes de ingresos, impulsar la economía local y mejorar la calidad de vida en la comunidad del corregimiento de Lerma - Cuaca, como una alternativa de vida diferente al cultivo de la hoja de coca como fuente de financiación; al mismo tiempo que, contribuirá generando aspectos ambientales y sociales alejados del flagelo del narcotráfico. En este orden de ideas, para el desarrollo metodológico se propone una reflexión teórica alrededor de la vocación productiva, producción agrícola, estrategias productivas y estrategias comerciales, que den pistas del abordaje de la investigación con el ánimo de tener los elementos que aporten a las comunidades una visión diferente de la agricultura. Adicional a ello y como parte de la puesta en marcha de la investigación, se realizará una caracterización a partir de elementos como información socioeconómica, reproducción, producción, consumo y circulación, ayudado así a identificar alternativas productivas que se convierten en el camino y el aliciente para estas zonas, considerando importante la investigación y sus resultados. The sustainable development of rural territories is a challenge that requires the search and promotion of productive alternatives beyond traditional agriculture. This article examines various innovative options that can diversify sources of income, boost the local economy and improve the quality of life in the community of the township of Lerma - Cauca, as a different lifestyle alternative to coca leaf cultivation as a source of income. financing; At the same time, it will contribute by generating environmental and social aspects far from the scourge of drug trafficking. In this order of ideas, for the methodological development, a theoretical reflection is proposed around the productive vocation, agricultural production, productive strategies and commercial strategies, which give clues to the approach of the research with the aim of having the elements that provide the communities with a different vision of agriculture. In addition to this, and as part of the implementation of the research, a characterisation will be carried out based on elements such as socio-economic information, reproduction, production, consumption and circulation, thus helping to identify productive alternatives that become the path and the incentive for these areas, considering the research and its results to be important.
