| Description: | Este working paper se centra en el análisis de los determinantes sociales y conductas de riesgo que afectan la salud pública. Se revisan estudios que abordan la obesidad y sobrepeso, la transición del consumo ocasional de tabaco a la adicción y el papel de las redes de apoyo en entornos laborales. La evidencia sugiere que factores socioeconómicos, culturales y psicosociales influyen significativamente en la adherencia a tratamientos y en la aparición de conductas de riesgo, lo que plantea la necesidad de intervenciones preventivas y de promoción de la salud que integren estrategias educativas y de fortalecimiento social (1-22).
I. AbstractThis working paper focuses on the analysis of social determinants and risk behaviors that affect public health. Studies addressing obesity and overweight, the transition from occasional tobacco use to addiction, and the role of support networks in work settings are reviewed. Evidence suggests that socioeconomic, cultural and psychosocial factors significantly influence adherence to treatment and the emergence of risk behaviors, which raises the need for preventive and health promotion interventions that integrate educational and social reinforcement strategies (1-22).
