| Description: | Este documento explora cómo las innovaciones biotecnológicas aplicadas a la salud animal y la agricultura están transformando la detección y el control de enfermedades y plagas. Se abordan investigaciones que incluyen la detección de anticuerpos contra Borrelia burgdorferi en caninos, la determinación de la seropositividad de Brucella abortus en ganado, la estabilidad genética en cepas de Leptospira y el uso del ARN de interferencia para el silenciamiento génico en insectos plaga. La aplicación de estas tecnologías permite una vigilancia más precisa y métodos sostenibles que benefician tanto a la salud animal como a la humana (1-23). This paper explores how biotechnological innovations applied to animal health and agriculture are transforming disease and pest detection and control. Research is addressed that includes detection of antibodies to Borrelia burgdorferi in canines, determination of Brucella abortus seropositivity in cattle, genetic stability in Leptospira strains, and the use of RNA interference for gene silencing in insect pests. The application of these technologies allows for more accurate surveillance and sustainable methods that benefit both animal and human health (1-23). |
