| Description: | Este documento examina cómo la modelización epidemiológica y las intervenciones preventivas pueden optimizar la respuesta ante enfermedades infecciosas. Se abordan estudios recientes que analizan la evolución del COVID-19 en Colombia, la adherencia al tratamiento de la tuberculosis en poblaciones migrantes y la evaluación de estrategias educativas para el personal de salud. La integración de estos enfoques permite identificar patrones de propagación, ajustar protocolos terapéuticos y diseñar intervenciones tempranas, mejorando la capacidad de respuesta de los sistemas de salud pública (1-22). This paper examines how epidemiological modeling and preventive interventions can optimize the response to infectious diseases. Recent studies analyzing the evolution of COVID-19 in Colombia, adherence to tuberculosis treatment in migrant populations, and the evaluation of educational strategies for health personnel are discussed. The integration of these approaches makes it possible to identify patterns of spread, adjust therapeutic protocols and design early interventions, improving the response capacity of public health systems (1-22). |
