| Description: | Este documento explora la convergencia entre la biotecnología, la genética y la bioética en el ámbito de la salud, abordando los avances en edición genética y su impacto ético, la relación entre genética y enfermedades metabólicas, y los factores ambientales asociados a enfermedades como el cáncer gástrico. Asimismo, se analizan los conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas sobre el virus del papiloma humano en niñas colombianas y los desafíos del cuidado en enfermedades crónicas. El estudio destaca la importancia de un enfoque multidisciplinario que integre la innovación científica con la reflexión ética y social. This paper explores the convergence of biotechnology, genetics, and bioethics in health, addressing advances in genetic editing and their ethical implications, the relationship between genetics and metabolic diseases, and environmental factors associated with diseases such as gastric cancer. Additionally, it examines knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding the human papillomavirus in Colombian girls and the challenges of caregiving in chronic diseases. The study highlights the importance of a multidisciplinary approach that integrates scientific innovation with ethical and social reflection. |
