Description: Mud and debris flows are sudden and highly destructive natural phenomena that have generated great economic, human and infrastructure losses in our country, which is why adequate territorial planning and risk management in to face of these events must be established as a priority. This book, the result of the research project ECAPMAPIE012019 entitled "Proposition of a comprehensive methodology for the evaluation of the threat caused by mud and debris flows at the basin scale in Colombia", aims to provide theoretical and methodological guidelines from the understanding of the characteristics of these natural phenomena, the analysis geospatial analysis and water resource modeling to adequately address risk management due to mud and debris flows.
