Description:	This article shows the design of the business architecture for the IT observatory for the Amazonia Orinoquia area, which was carried out by applying the business architecture reference framework for IT management in Colombia and is complemented by a reference framework TOGAF. The method to be used is composed of a series of stages that are executed cyclically in such a way that in each of the iterations the level of maturity and detail of the business architecture solution for the IT observatory increases. The CEAD of Acacias, node of the Orinoquia Amazon Zone, has a technological infrastructure that must be evaluated, to establish all the technological tools necessary for the operation of this observatory, which will aim to establish permanent monitoring, a balance of resources, surveillance , forecasting, prospecting, obtaining and analyzing information in order to support decision-making in organizations that seek guidance. El presente artículo muestra el diseño de la arquitectura de negocio para el observatorio TI para la zona Amazonia Orinoquia, el cual se realizó mediante la aplicación del marco de referencia de arquitectura empresarial para la gestión en TI de Colombia y que se complementa con marco de referencia TOGAF. El método para emplear está compuesto de una serie de etapas que se ejecutan de forma cíclica de tal manera que en cada una de las iteraciones se incrementa el nivel de madurez y detalle de la solución de arquitectura de negocio para el observatorio TI. El CEAD de Acacias nodo de la Zona Amazonia Orinoquia cuenta con una infraestructura tecnológica que se debe evaluar, para establecer todas las herramientas tecnológicas necesarias para el funcionamiento de este observatorio, que tendrá como fin establecer un monitoreo permanente, un balance de recursos, la vigilancia, el pronóstico, la prospectiva, la obtención y análisis de información con el fin de respaldar la toma de decisiones en las organizaciones que acudan a solicitar orientación.
