Description:	Architectural Cultural Heritage is a World Heritage Site, or rather a World Heritage Site (García, 2011), which the citizens of Ecuador have partially valued since 1978, when UNESCO granted this award to the city of Quito and the Galapagos Island. The historical heritage architecture of this country is a cultural reference at the Latin American level, however, a low interest in its conservation could lead it to become part of the UNESCO blacklist: World Heritage at risk. It is therefore necessary at present, and with a medium and long term vision, to develop a pre-feasibility study to determine the feasibility of providing a tourist service based on the Cultural and Architectural Heritage of Ecuador, based on project management strategies through the PMBOK tools, to achieve the economic reactivation of different sectors directly linked to the transit of local and foreign tourists (transport, hotels, restaurants, handicrafts, travel agencies, exchange houses, technology, advertising, marketing, churches and foreign trade, among others). El patrimonio cultural arquitectónico es patrimonio de la humanidad, o mejor patrimonio mundial (García, 2011), lo que el ciudadano de Ecuador ha valorado parcialmente desde 1978, cuando la Unesco otorgó este galardón a la ciudad de Quito y a la isla de Galápagos. La arquitectura patrimonial de carácter histórico de este país es un referente cultural a nivel latinoamericano, sin embargo, un bajo interés por su conservación, podría llevarlo a hacer parte de la lista negra de la Unesco: patrimonio de la humanidad en riesgo. Es por esto, que se hace necesario desarrollar un estudio de prefactibilidad para determinar la viabilidad de la prestación de un servicio turístico a partir del patrimonio cultural y arquitectónico de Ecuador, fundamentado en estrategias de gerencia de proyectos a través de las herramientas del PMBOK, que a su vez permita la reactivación económica de diferentes sectores vinculados directamente al tránsito de turistas locales y extranjeros (transporte, hotelería, restaurantes, artesanías, agencias de viaje, casas de cambio, tecnología, publicidad, mercadeo, iglesias y comercio exterior, entre otros).
