Description:	The automation of attention in the virtual classroom and its impact on the teaching-learning process has become a necessity for higher education institutions that work under this modality, and where currently this type of teaching and methodology has been increasing in partly due to the global pandemic that took place in 2020. This document will show a technological surveillance process as an approach to review the impact of these automation processes and the use of artificial intelligence tools on virtual campuses, for which a technological surveillance tool and various monitoring tools are used. bibliographic analysis. La automatización de atención en aula virtual y su impacto en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje se ha ido convirtiendo en una necesidad para las instituciones de educación superior que trabajan bajo esta modalidad, y donde actualmente este tipo de enseñanza y metodología se ha ido incrementando en parte debido a la pandemia mundial que se vivió en el año 2020. En este documento se mostrará un proceso de vigilancia tecnológica (VT) como un acercamiento para revisar el impacto que tienen estos procesos de automatización y uso de herramientas de inteligencia artificial en los campus virtuales, para eso se hace uso de una herramienta de vigilancia tecnológica y varias herramientas de análisis bibliográfico.
