dc.descriptionThe agricultural and livestock tradition of the Orinoquía region has caused the region to have deficiencies in the development of other aspects of the economy such as industry and commerce; On the other hand, the oil industry has become the bastion of the region's economy for the last 20 years. Once the oil crisis generated consequences on employment and the standard of living of the inhabitants, society has begun to look towards other horizons; In this characterization, a first approximation was made to which industries and productive sectors are awakening the economic life of the municipality of Acacías, an economy strongly hit by different phenomena such as the oil crisis, the incipient road infrastructure and now the COVID pandemic. 19. Within the characterization it was found that the agricultural and livestock industries prevail within the economic activities, as well as the transportation sector presents great activity, as well as the retail trade of different products, agricultural inputs, goods and services among other products.en
dc.descriptionLa tradición agrícola y ganadera de la región de la Orinoquía, ha hecho que la región tenga deficiencias en el desarrollo de otros aspectos de la economía como la industria y el comercio; por otra parte, la industria petrolera se ha constituido en el bastión de la economía de la región por los últimos 20 años. Una vez la crisis del petróleo generó las consecuencias en el empleo y en el nivel de vida de los habitantes, la sociedad ha empezado a ver hacia otros horizontes; en esta caracterización se realizó una primera aproximación a cuáles son las industrias y los sectores productivos que están despertando la vida económica del municipio de Acacías, economía fuertemente azotada por diferentes fenómenos como la crisis del petróleo, la incipiente infraestructura vial y ahora la pandemia del COVID 19. Dentro de la caracterización se encontró que las industrias agrícola y ganadera prevalecen dentro de las actividades económicas, así como también el sector del transporte presenta gran actividad, así como el comercio al por menor de diferentes productos, insumos agrícolas, bienes y servicios entre otros productos.es
