dc.description.abstract | La biotecnología agrícola, en su interés por mejorar métodos y sistemas de producción, ha hecho uso de diversas ramas de las ciencias biológicas para intervenir organismos, con el fin de aumentar su productividad y resistencia a diversos factores medioambientales. El presente trabajo ofrece una revisión monográfica de la edición genómica como herramienta biotecnológica utilizada para la manipulación genética en los diferentes campos de la biología y la medicina, donde el método CRISPR/Cas9 se ha posicionado como el que mayores posibilidades ofrece para la edición de genes en las diversas especies biológicas con el fin de obtener un producto específico. Tal es el caso de la edición de los genes SIGAD en el tomate, Solanum lycopersicum, con lo cual se ha logrado conseguir una mayor concentración de ácido aminobutírico en la fruta. | spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | Agricultural biotechnology, in its interest to improve methods and systems of production, has made use of diverse branches of the biological sciences to intervene organisms, in order to increase their productivity and resistance to various environmental factors. The present work offers a monographic review of the genomic edition as a biotechnological tool used for genetic manipulation in the different fields of biology and medicine, where the CRISPR / Cas9 method has been positioned as the one that offers the greatest possibilities for the edition of genes in the various biological species in order to obtain a specific product. Such is the case of the edition of SIGAD genes in tomato, Solanum lycopersicum, with which, a higher concentration of aminobutyric acid in the fruit has been achieved. | spa |
