| dc.description.abstract | La búsqueda del desarrollo sostenible obliga a la evolución de cada una de las prácticas que aportan al mejoramiento y sostenimiento económico de una región. Teniendo en cuenta que una de las prácticas que permiten llevar a cabo este tipo de estrategias en el municipio de Saravena, departamento de Arauca, es el turismo sostenible desarrollado por su comunidad (el municipio cuenta con una gran variedad de recursos naturales, diversidad turística, gastronómica y agrícola), en el presente trabajo académico se hará alusión a los avances y escenarios del desarrollo turístico sostenible comunitario en el municipio de Saravena y propuestas para su mejora.
Para lograr el cometido mencionado anteriormente, se realizó una entrevista a 6 expertos en turismo sostenible del municipio de Saravena, que identificaron el comportamiento turístico comunitario, las expectativas que se pueden esperar con su desarrollo, la forma de involucrar a la comunidad en cada uno de los procesos y posibles entornos donde se podría implementar. | spa |

Taking into account that one of the practices that allow carrying out this type of strategies in the municipality of Saravena, department of Arauca, is sustainable tourism developed by its community (the municipality has a great variety of natural resources, tourist diversity, gastronomic and agricultural), this academic work will refer to the progress and scenarios of sustainable community tourism development in the municipality of Saravena and proposals for its improvement.
